CHOOSE THE RIGHT DRAMA CLASS
Malta Drama Academy offers a comprehensive range of performing arts classes for students aged 3-93 years using a unique and award winning curriculum that develops essential skills and confidence in every student.
Our advanced drama and musical theatre classes take performance skills to a higher level, including acting theories, singing, and dance routines for young aspiring professionals and adults. Advanced drama students even participate in live professional performances, gaining industry-relevant experience under the guidance of professional tutors.
The dance classes focus on physical development and coordination blending dance styles such as jazz, hip-hop and pop, allowing students to enhance their movement and performance skills.
DRAMA
Through engaging sessions in voice, movement, acting, mime and performance, our program nurtures self-expression and personal growth.
Classes are weekly from 1-1.5hrs across the Island, Monday to Saturday.
MUSICAL THEATRE
Discover the magic of musical theatre! Our weekly 1 to 1.5-hour classes for 3-16 year olds.
Blend singing, dance, and drama into an exciting and dynamic experience that will inspire and transform young lives.
ADVANCED DRAMA
Professional-level training for aspiring actors aged 11 and up.
Focus on techniques, performance skills, and real experience through paid stage and screen opportunities in Malta.
ADULT ACTING
Adult acting workshops, led by UK professional David Hirst Samuels, offer a transformative journey in confidence and creativity through dynamic exercises, industry theory and weekly performances. Welcoming beginners to advanced performers aged 18+ to our Attard Studios.
DANCE
Get ready to move and groove with our Develop & Dance program! Designed for kids aged 5-8, these fun-filled weekly sessions bring together the energy of jazz, hip-hop and pop. Your child will build confidence, creativity, and social skills while developing their physical abilities and performance talents.
THE FUN FACTORY
The Fun Factory is our Award-Winning Musicals Themed Summer programme! Recognized internationally with three Awards of Excellence, these innovative and unforgettable experiences combine drama, dance, exciting games, water play, arts and crafts, and thrilling performances. Perfect for kids aged 3-16 years.
QUALIFICATIONS & GRADES
Malta Drama Academy has Two exciting and affordable options for students to gain qualifications and grades in performing arts.
Firstly we have our very own modular qualification- The CrEd Development through Drama Award that allows students aged 9-18 years to engage in an EQF Level 3 Non-Formal Award that has no exams and is achievable through specialised workshops. There are 15 modules to choose from including Acting for TV, Public Speaking, Scriptwriting, Physical Theatre and Production Skills. Each module is certificated and after 9 modules a diploma is awarded. We have been awarded ‘BEST PRACTICE’ again in 2024 by the Ministry for Education.
Our second option for students wishing to gain Internationally recognised Grades and Qualifications in Drama, Acting, Performance and Speech is through our Trinity College London digital examinations. Students choose which grade and class they wish to pursue and we work to help them achieve ‘Distinctions’ .

THEATRE COMPANY
The Flawless Theatre Company offers specialised weekly workshops designed to elevate acting skills for participants aged 11+. The curriculum covers essential theory and techniques in stagecraft, vocal development, improvisation, and movement, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of acting and performance. Taught by industry experts, these sessions combine theoretical and hands-on practice, encouraging students to explore deeper dimensions of character and storytelling.
Members have the opportunity to participate in professional productions, gaining invaluable real-world experience on stage. Through these workshops, students not only build acting proficiency but also cultivate self-confidence, creative expression, and resilience.
CORPORATE TRAINING
Malta Drama Academy’s corporate programs offer experiential training with drama-based activities, enhancing skills in team building, leadership, role play and communication.
Courses are customized to address specific corporate needs, from public speaking to conflict management and stress relief, aiming to improve cohesion, learning, and motivation within teams.
Participants benefit from a playful, impactful approach that builds vital skills for professional and personal growth.
CASTING OPPORTUNITIES
Introducing the Malta Drama Academy’s Casting Agency, a game-changing opportunity for our talented students aged 3 to 93! From TV and film roles to voice-over and extra work, we connect aspiring actors with incredible opportunities both locally and internationally. Our students are already making waves, with one of our young actresses landing the lead role in Peppa Pig alongside other supporting parts.
