Achieve the CrEd Award – Recognized Across Malta and the EU!

As part of this journey, we’ll invest a few extra hours, but the skills and memories gained will last a lifetime. For example, in February 2024, we took students to One Studios Marsa for exclusive “Acting for TV & Film” workshops.

This award, accredited by the Directorate for Quality and Standards in Education (DQSE) as a “Non-Formal Award in Development through Drama” at EQF Level 3, is open to students aged nine and up. A Lifelong Journey in Drama: Build Skills, Confidence, and Creativity

Our sessions combine voice coaching, movement, improvisation, storytelling, drama games, and coordination exercises, all led by experienced and supportive tutors. This engaging and well-rounded curriculum encourages self-expression and builds confidence, helping every student—no matter their starting point—grow into a confident, expressive individual ready to tackle any challenge.

HOW IT WORKS

Students enrolled in the program will attend their regular weekly classes, and attendance is essential, as these hours contribute toward the requirements for each module.

Participants will aim to complete 2-3 modules per year. Each module includes weekly lessons along with one workshop or project per term, led by an industry expert at our Malta Drama Headquarters or on location in Malta. Dates and times for these sessions will be provided in advance.

Students will receive a folder to document their progress, and each module completed earns them a certificate, which should be kept in the folder as a record of achievement.

We’ve collaborated with educational leaders to design modules that equip students with skills for a lifetime. The modules focus on:

Module Structure and Qualification

Students in the Upper Primary Program can complete 2 modules per academic year, with the Youth Theatre Program offering an additional 3 modules per year. Both programs provide a total of 15 modules, and students need to complete 9 modules to achieve a Level 3 qualification. Any additional modules will be recognized in the final certification.

Modules can be taken flexibly; Upper Primary modules are not required to start the Youth Theatre modules. If students wish to pursue more than the 9 required Youth Theatre modules, we are happy to discuss further options.
